幼少期から現在にいたるまで、鉱物採集、登山、岩登り、釣りなど自然に遊ぶ機会が多く、自然は身近な存在であったことから、必然的に人間の対概念としての自然に魅力と強い興味を持つようになった。
自然が持つ色彩や形態の美しさ、岩肌や水の感触、スケール感を更新する雄大さに感覚が解放され、イメージが拡張される体験は現在の表現の根幹をなしている。
不明瞭で流動的な形態によってイメージが拡張され、見えていないたくさんのものの存在が浮き彫りになればよいと思っている。（アーティストステートメント'23 から抜粋）
From my childhood to the present day, I have had many opportunities to engage with nature through activities such as mineral collecting, mountaineering, rock climbing and fishing; as nature has always been a familiar presence in my life, I have inevitably come to feel a strong fascination and interest in nature as a concept distinct from humanity.
The experience of having my senses liberated by the beauty of nature’s colours and forms, the texture of rock and water, and the grandeur that redefines a sense of scale—an experience that expands my imagination—forms the foundation of my current artistic expression.
I hope that through ambiguous and fluid forms, my imagery will expand, bringing to light the existence of the many things that remain unseen. (Excerpt from Artist Statement ’23)
